Metro Police have identified seven officers and two sergeants involved in two deadly confrontations within four days this month. The latest incident involved a man who died in police custody Wednesday night after a struggle with officers.

A five-vehicle collision involving a Metro Police vehicle has traffic snarled for miles on northbound Interstate 15, authorities said. No injuries have been reported, but traffic is stalled north of Sahara Avenue on the interstate.

The Southern Nevada Health District is offering two H1N1 flu vaccine clinics from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. Saturday. The clinics will be held at the main public health center, 625 Shadow Lane, which is north of West Charleston Boulevard and west of Martin Luther King Boulevard, and the Henderson public health center at 520 E. Lake Mead Parkway.

A man died in the custody of Metro Police Wednesday night after a struggle with officers at a home in the southwest Las Vegas Valley, police said today. It's the second time in four days a man has died as he was being restrained by Metro officers. Eight officers and a sergeant have been placed on paid administrative leave, Metro Capt. Randy Montandon said at a news conference this afternoon. Four officers and a sergeant were involved in the first incident on Sunday, and four officers were involved in the second incident on Wednesday.
