Patrons were able to return to the Slots-A-Fun casino this afternoon and Las Vegas Boulevard was reopened after a suspicious package was found earlier today at the Las Vegas Strip casino.
Metro Police and the Las Vegas bomb squad were alerted to the suspicious package at 1:18 p.m. today, but Las Vegas Boulevard South was reopened shortly before 3: 30 p.m., police said.
The evacuation of the Slots-A-Fun, 2890 Las Vegas Boulevard South, was ordered as a precaution, police said. Police have not described what they found in the package.
Police had blocked traffic on Las Vegas Boulevard South between Circus Circus and Convention Center drives, a police spokeswoman said.

Ahh Slots Of Fun , home of the dollar craps, 50 cent Heinekens, and dollar ft long hot dog . I have never won a single cent from the slots in this place.
Considering the patrons, it would be very suspicious if the package contained bar of soap.
Did they bring back the free popcorn and 75 cents Heineken? those were the good days when it was really fun at slots a fun.
Slotsssssssss ah fun. Are they really fun? I think the 75 cents Heineken plus the free pop corn to feed the doves outside, that's what making the Slots-a-Fun the Fun thing on the Vegas Strip.
