Voter turnout was light throughout Clark County on Tuesday for the municipal primary elections in Henderson, Las Vegas, North Las Vegas, Boulder City and Mesquite. Polls opened at 7 a.m. and will closed at 7 p.m.

Boulder City: Nine City Council candidates agree vote will be pivotal

The nine candidates for Boulder City Council may not agree on much, but they are unanimous on one point — all say this election is pivotal. With council members Mike Pacini and Andrea Anderson not running for re-election, the balance of power could tilt. Early voting for the primary election, which will narrow the field from nine to four, begins Saturday.
