Qualifications for job: First and foremost, I am a citizen of the United States. That is what made me eligible to run for public office. I was elected to the Detroit School Board, 1972-1980, and I was a precinct delegate for 20 years. I have been a volunteer to many organizations — the Senior Center of Boulder City, Optimists International, Moose International. I ran a youth program in Detroit for six years, was a union representative for the Detroit Police and while working at Hoover Dam. I have been around for 80 years. I am looking forward to serving my community.
