Metro Police investigators said today they are seeking two men in a double homicide that occurred Aug. 10 near Decatur Boulevard and Sahara Avenue.

One man has been identified as 43-year-old Jose Granados-Dominguez Sr., who is about 5-foot-10-inches tall and weighs about 175 pounds, police said.

The other man was identified as Richard Granados, 31, who is about 5-foot-9-inches tall and weighs about 185 pounds with black hair, brown eyes and a scar on his right arm.

Police said warrants were issued charging each man with two counts of murder with a deadly weapon and one charge of attempted murder with a deadly weapon.

Police arrived about 12:25 p.m. Aug. 10 to the 5000 block of West Edna Avenue and found one man dead inside a Ford pickup truck and two other men who had gunshot wounds. The man in the pickup truck, 19-year-old Juan Carlos Benitez, was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

Paul Rodelo, 22, of Las Vegas died from his injuries at a hospital the next day, police said. The third man, Cesar Sosa, 20, was treated for his injuries and later released from a hospital.

Police initially charged a 19-year-old man in the first shooting death but released him from the Clark County Detention Center after holding him for a week. Investigators are now seeking the 19-year-old's uncle, who is Jose Granados Sr., police said.

Anyone with information about the double homicide is urged to contact Crime Stoppers at (702) 385-5555 or Metro's Homicide Section, (702) 828-3521.
