Kyler Chavez had two catches for 71 yards and two touchdowns today, and passed for another score, helping the Green Valley football team dispose of host Rancho, 74-6.
Quarterback Christian Lopez completed 11 of 16 passes for 237 yards and four touchdowns, Larry Norman rushed for two touchdowns and 76 yards on seven carries and Brandon Harper had a pair of touchdown receptions.
Garret Rodgers added a 40-yard touchdown reception for the Gators and Jose Martinez rushed for 150 yards and three touchdown on 11 carries.
Green Valley (5-2 overall, 3-0 Northeast) plays at Canyon Springs next week in a game that will likely determine the Northeast champ.
