Recapping Gorman's scare, Green Valley's survival

Las Vegas Sun sports reporters Ray Brewer and Case Keefer glance back at last week's action, which included three of the best games of the year. Ensuing questions include debating the Sunrise Region's favorite, Bishop Gorman's vulnerability and Foothill's potential.

The Mojave High football team won its third straight game Thursday, using a key interception from Marcus Parker inside the Mojave 10-yard line late in the fourth quarter to fight off visiting Clark, 19-14.

Ty Flanagan carried the ball 11 times for 147 yards and a pair of touchdowns for the Rattlers, and Jaylon Delgado scored the other Mojave touchdown on a 19-yard scoring strike from Zack Arave.

Arave carried the ball nine times for 66 yards and completed 6 of 9 passes for 101 yards.

Mojave (5-3) closes the regular season next week at Pahrump; Clark hosts Cheyenne.
