Clark snapped its much documented four-year, 42-game losing streak last fall. Now the Chargers hope to complete their turnaround and qualify for the postseason.
"There is no doubt in our minds that we are making the playoffs this year," Clark senior defensive tackle Ben Atuatasi said. "Other teams won't be able to look past us anymore."
Clark has 17 seniors who have been with the program since their freshman year and returns several on offense who are more comfortable with coach Don Willis' double-wing attack. The Chargers went through three coaches in three years during the streak, but Willis has brought stability in now his third year.
