The Bishop Gorman High football recorded its third consecutive shutout Friday in a 63-0 victory against visiting Pahrump Valley.
In six Southwest Division games, the defending state champion Gaels have only yield six points. They last surrendered a point in the first quarter three weeks ago to Desert Oasis in a 56-6 victory, giving them 17 straight quarters without giving up a point.
Gorman coach Tony Sanchez said defensive linemen Jalen Grimble and Jaylon Jackson led the defensive effort.
Offensively, quarterback Anu Solomon was 6-for-6 with five touchdown passes.
Gorman closes the regular season with games against Bonanza and Durango.
“We just have to stay focused and humble,” Sanchez said.
