Las Vegas Sun reporters Ray Brewer and Steve Silver start breaking down potential playoff match-ups as this week's slate of games will not greatly impact any postseason positioning.

Expanded coverage

Basic won its fourth game in a row Thursday as it beat Cheyenne 39-7.

Tyler Dobbins had a touchdown pass and rush in the first half, before the Wolves put in their second string for the rest of the game.

Edward Villaros also had a long touchdown run. Basic finishes off its regular season against Foothill next week and will play either Desert Pines or Valley in the first round of the playoffs.

“We just have to focus on Foothill and see where the chips fall,” Basic coach Jeff Cahill said.
