Locomotives add 19 new players to Las Vegas squad

The Las Vegas Locomotives of the upstart United Football League signed 18 more players Monday including three former Utah standouts: offensive lineman Jesse Boon, nose tackle Lauvale Sape and receiver Brian Hernandez.

The complete list of new signings are as follows:

P - Danner Baugher (Arizona)

G - Martin Bibla (Miami)

C - Jesse Boone (Utah)

CB - Wale Dada (Washington State)

RB - Tyrell Fenroy (LA Lafayette)

DT - George Gause (South Carolina)

WR - Brian Hernandez (Utah)

K - Andrew Jacas (Fort Valley State)

TE - Scott Kuhn (Louisville)

DB - Jamal Lewis (Georgia Tech)

DB - Tony Parrish (Washington)

QB - Russ Michna (Western Illinois)

LS - Rigo Morales )Texas A&M Kingsville)

WR - Tab Perry (UCLA)

NT - Lauvale Sape (Utah)

T - Pedro Sosa (Rutgers)

LB - Brian Toal (Boston College)

DB - BJ Ward (Florida State)

DB - Trey Young (Montana)

The Las Vegas Locomotives' first game is Oct. 8 against the San Francisco Redwoods at Sam Boyd Stadium at 6 p.m.
