UFL Las Vegas signs 19 players

The still unnamed Las Vegas franchise of the United Football League signed 19 players today.

"The players who have signed with the Las Vegas franchise thus far are a top-notch line-up of former NFL veterans and skilled players who have the experience to produce on the field," said Las Vegas head coach Jim Fassel in a press release. "I am anxious to complete my roster and begin training camp in September."

In addition to the marquee signing of former NFL quarterback JP Losman, the Las Vegas franchise added the following players:

TE - Adam Bergen (Lehigh)

OG - Jason Boone (Utah)

DT - Wendell Bryant (Wisconsin)

LB - Ezra Butler (Nevada)

OG - Frank Davis (South Florida)

OT - Brandon Joyce (Illinois State)

WR - David Kircus (Grand Valley State)

NT - Ross Kolodziej (Wisconsin)

LB - Teddy Lehman (Oklahoma)

DT - Gabe Long (Utah)

LB - Brandon Moore (Oklahoma)

LB - Ronnie Palmer (Arizona)

QB - Tim Rattay (Louisiana Tech)

RB - Tyson Thompson (San Jose State)

WR - Andrae Thurman (Arizona)

DB - Nick Turnbull (FIU)

LB - Brian Toal (Boston College)

RB - Terrance Whitehead (Oregon)

CB - Chaz Williams (LA Monroe)

The Las Vegas squad will add at least 25 more players before training camp opens in September.
