- The first half of Las Vegas GirlFestival was marred with low turnouts, and unfortunately, that streak continued Saturday night, as one of the festival’s final shows failed to draw any real audience to Beauty Bar. Luckily, the participants of the third annual showcase of female talent still found the good in GirlFestival.

Like the Clydesdale, the alt-rock trio is peddling their new album.

- Cow punk rockers The Clydesdale celebrated the release of their latest CD with an energetic party that only Neon Reverb could host. The show brought the band to the Bunkhouse along with The Mad Caps, Leopold and his Fiction and The Flametrick Subs. The music was great, and we couldn't pick just one favorite melodic moment from the night. However, there were some obvious standouts.

- Keep it simple, stupid. Often shortened to the acronym KISS, this half-insult, half-sound advice effectively sums up the road to success used in this week's episode of "Top Chef: Las Vegas."
