Justin Davis scored on four of his six carries in the first half and rushed for 124 yards Friday in leading the host Cimarron-Memorial High football team past Rancho, 55-0.
Cimarron led 48-0 at halftime, also using six carries for 119 yards and a touchdown from Michael Barnson in winning for the second straight week. Last week, they limited Del Sol to seven points in a 20-point victory.
“We actually had a bad week of practice,” Cimarron coach John Parcells said. “We are focused on getting better and improving each week.”
Cimarron plays Las Vegas High next Thursday on the Thursday Night Lights television game.
