If you are a regular reader of LasVegasSun.com, you will notice that our home page looks a bit different tonight. Indeed it is.
What you are seeing is our evening edition, which is tailored for readers who seek a more relaxing mix of stories and photographs after a long day of work and anxiety.
It's stressful to live anywhere, but we're being told that we live in the second-most stressful city in the nation. Because of that, you don't necessarily want to come home and read wall-to-wall coverage of Las Vegas home sales hitting a 30-year low.
Sometimes, you just want to grab a tasty beverage and check in on the latest happenings at the Hard Rock. And there are interesting happenings at the Hard Rock this week. (Trust us on this one.)
Don't worry: We will still provide you with the latest breaking news all night, and more news content than from any other news organization in the Las Vegas Valley.
If something happens this evening, you'll still find it on the Sun's home page. In fact, the news junkies among you can simply click over to the standard edition of the Sun's site to access the day's newsy homepage.
But for those of you who want to kick back, we hope you'll enjoy winding down with this more relaxing look at life in Las Vegas.
Enjoy,
Mr. Sun

Very cool. Keep up the good work.

Smart move! Worth a try to see how it goes but please keep local news an easy and visible link. Sometimes it seems like there's already a ton of entertainment news in the Sun that sticks on the home page for too long though.
Who loves ya??? Chunky does!
That's what Chunky thinks!
I get most of my Vegas news from the Sun, both the website and from the middle of that also ran newspaper. Seeing this tonight was a welcome change, even though I never had a problem with the other format. Keep up the great work!
