Adult-movie fans have loads to be excited about this week as the porn convention comes to the Hard Rock Hotel.

From Wednesday through Saturday the Adult Video News (AVN) will host its 2012 Adult Entertainment Expo, Adult Novelty Expo, awards and virtual expo.

Industry professionals, exhibitors and fans will get to rub elbows, and maybe other body parts, with adult-movie stars. The expo will be filled with stage shows, seminars and exhibit halls that show off the latest adult products, among other things.

Fan hours for the expo this week are 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursday; 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday.

Passes to the various exhibit halls range from $35 to $80 depending on the day. A single day VIP pass for $100 includes access to the exhibits and exclusive Q&A sessions with adult stars and a VIP hideaway. Party packs, like the Party Like a Porn Star Pass go for $125 and offer access to 12 of the convention’s official parties. Other passes offer large and small packages, depending on what you’re into. Prices range from $40 to $325.

Tickets to the AVN Awards Show are $300, unless you’ve purchased a pass to the expo, then it’s $25 off.

The awards show will be hosted by adult movie stars Bree Olson and Sunny Leone on Saturday inside the Joint at the Hard Rock.

The event recognizes the greatest moments in the adult entertainment world, such as most outrageous sex scene, best supporting actress and best male newcomer.

The awards show’s red carpet is from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., show starts at 9 p.m.

If you’re feeling like a high roller, VIP suite access is available for $1,000, but you better jump on it — only 20 passes are available.

Fans not coming to Las Vegas can still peep in on all the action by purchasing tickets to the convention’s first Virtual Adult Entertainment Expo.

For $19.99 fans of the porn industry can watch 36-hours of live coverage of 2012 Adult Entertainment Expo, plus a few extras strapped on for good measure.

Virtual attendees will also have access into live chat rooms with some of the adult stars.

  1. Is it wise to mention "Other passes offer large and small packages" when talking about a porn convention?
