To recover from its first defeat of the season, Del Sol looked toward its leader for direction.

Evan Weinstock delivered. The senior receiver caught three touchdown passes in the Dragons’ 61-35 rout of Green Valley.

“We kind of bounced back,” Del Sol coach Preston Goroff said. “We had a great offensive game.”

Del Sol improved to 8-1 and needs to beat Coronado next week to clinch the Southeast Division title.
