The woman Metro Police officers found dead on Mother's Day in the front entry of a residence near West Desert Inn and Fort Apache roads she shared with a boyfriend has been identified.

The Clark County Coroner's Office said 45-year-old Robin Lesley Jenkins of Las Vegas died of several stab wounds. The death was ruled a homicide, a spokeswoman for the coroner's office said today.

When officers assigned to the Enterprise Area Command got a domestic violence call about 8:43 p.m. Sunday, they found a large amount of blood at the front door of a house in the 9500 block of Swan Bay Drive, police said.

After officers tried to contact someone inside the home and no one responded, they entered the residence and found a woman lying in the doorway dead from what appeared to be several stab wounds, police said.

Inside the house, officers found the victim's boyfriend, 45-year-old David Frostick, who was placed under arrest, Metro Officer Barbara Morgan said.

Metro homicide detectives are continuing to investigate the event. Frostick was booked into the Clark County Detention Center for murder with the use of a deadly weapon.
