16-year-old charged as adult in sex assault case

UPDATED STORY: Police: Teen charged in sex assault threatened to kill

Metro Police said today that a 16-year-old boy has been charged as an adult in a sexual assault case.

Tyquie Triplett was charged with four counts of sexual assault and one count of first-degree kidnapping, police said.

Triplett was arrested Aug. 5 after he accosted a woman at a bus stop on the west side of the Las Vegas Valley, police said. He forced the woman into an abandoned house and allegedly committed the crimes, police said.
