The ECHL suspended Las Vegas Wranglers defenseman Steve Makway for two games under Rule 29 for his role in a fight on Sunday against the Ontario Reign.
Makway supposedly instigated a fight with four seconds remaining in the game. This is not Makway's first rodeo with late-game fights and suspensions, which could explain the two-game suspension rather than the typical one game penalty.
Makway will miss tonight's game against the Alaska Aces as well as Friday's contest.
