Tarkanian spinal-cord surgery a success (UPDATED)

Danny Tarkanian left his father’s room in the intensive-care unit of Scripps Memorial Hospital this morning and felt much better about the legendary UNLV basketball coach. Germany showing major interest in Rougeau

Former UNLV swingman René Rougeau can plan on making a living in basketball. While watching some of the NBA Summer League action Thursday at Cox Pavilion, Rougeau said there is much European interest in his services for the 2009-10 season.
