UFC 160
Velasquez and dos Santos end night with knockout wins

UFC 160 Champion Cain Velasquez used his punches. No. 1 ranked contender Junior dos Santos opted for a head-kick. Their knockout victories on the annual Memorial Day weekend card at the MGM Grand Garden Arena — over Antonio "Bigfoot" Silva and Mark Hunt, respectively — landed them back in a familiar position. Before the end of the year, Velasquez and dos Santos will meet again. It will mark the third time the world's two best heavyweights share the octagon. It will also break their current tie of one win apiece. As confident as Velasquez is that he can become the elusive long-reigning heavyweight champion, dos Santos is equally convinced that he'll right his last loss.
