Metro Police are investigating a hit-and-run accident that left a woman in critical condition Wednesday night. Shoes were left behind at the scene of the accident. The woman, whose identity has not been released, was crossing Charleston Boulevard near Pecos Road when she was struck by a vehicle, police said.
