A broken tree branch rests in the front lawn of a home near Temporale and Tedesca drives in the Anthem area of Henderson on Thursday afternoon. A rare snowstorm blanketed the Las Vegas Valley on Wednesday, delaying flights, causing widespread fender-benders and canceling school. More than 6 inches of snow fell in parts of the valley, forecasters said.
