    The Las Vegas Wranglers surrendered three first-period goals today in a 5-2 loss to the visiting Idaho Steelheads at the Orleans Arena. The game included 86 penalty minutes and was called with 1.7 seconds remaining after three game misconduct-penalties were issued.

    More than 7,000 fans greeted the Las Vegas Wranglers back home to the Orleans Arena on Friday night after a monthlong road trip, and they were not disappointed. Backed by the goaltender Travis Fullerton's performance of stopping 33 of 34 Bakersfield shots, the Wranglers gave the home fans a 3-1 victory over the Condors.

    When the Las Vegas Wranglers department heads met Monday for their weekly meeting, a face that had been missing from the past few weeks reappeared. Coach Mike Madill had missed a few meetings because his team was on the road for most of November. The time away is coming to an end. The Wranglers return to the ice at 7 p.m. tonight when they host the Bakersfield Condors at the Orleans Arena. “It was like another offseason,” Wranglers President Billy Johnson said. “Mike had this look on his face that said, ‘It’s good to see everyone.’”

    Forward Matt Tassone tallied the Las Vegas Wranglers lone goal today in a 4-1 loss at the Idaho Steelheads. Tassone scored at the 6:27 mark of the second period to tie the game at 1-all, but Idaho scored the final three goals to hand Las Vegas the loss.
