A man is suspected of robbing or attempting to rob three banks in the past three months while wearing different hats, including a fedora and a straw cowboy hat.

Following the release of a UNLV Law Clinic report questioning the standards of care for immigrant detainees at the Henderson Detention Center, on Tuesday evening law professor Fatma Marouf asked the Henderson City Council to meet with herself and the other authors to address their concerns.

It’s a trip they’ve dreamed of taking since they got married 49 years ago, and now, thanks to Lanny's successful liver transplant, they can make it a reality.

Six companies relocating to or expanding in Clark County sought tax abatement and deferral incentives from the state. Approval of the abatements and referrals would result in an additional 766 jobs and a total capital investment of $60.5 million.

Most, if not all, of the questions surrounding Green Valley entering the season was focused on whether or not its defense could mature fast enough to take the Gators to the next level. If Friday’s 28-6 victory over Silverado is any indication, the answer is yes. The Gators forced five turnovers, giving its potent offense plenty of short fields to produce points.

A woman shot to death at a Henderson home earlier this week was identified today as Cherish Noelle Pincombe, Clark County Coroner’s Office officials said. Pincombe, 23, of Las Vegas, died Tuesday from a gunshot wound to the head.
