Trump shooting his own foot

Donald Trump seemed to me to be far too undiscipined and too much of a “fly by the seat of his pants” man to be considered for the presidency. Hillary Clinton appeared to me to be an opportunist, without the abilities or intelligence of her husband, and therefore unfit to be president.

I voted for neither.

Donald Trump’s tweet about wiretapping, among many other things, illustrates the issues he has.

I suspect that there is some truth to the claim that certain former Obama administration officials did make efforts that undermined the new administration.

A more careful man than Trump would not have tried to pull the former president into any such efforts without proof, and would have been more careful with his word choice than to use “wiretapped” in his tweet.

This guy seems impulsive and imprecise. So far, he has repeatedly shot himself in the foot and assisted those who hate him.

I hope he wises up, but I am not hopeful.
