There is a well-known phrase in Latin, “post hoc, ergo propter hoc,” translated as “after this, therefore because of this.” Although this may not be perfectly logical, it does bring to mind the fact that the stock market has fallen consistently since the Republican majority Congress has been sworn in.
I’ve been told that the market reflects the confidence in our public officials. This is thought-provoking.
