I am the founder and CEO of the Women’s Shooting Academy in Northern Nevada. I am writing because the Sun got some facts wrong on Dec. 9. The story “Have gun, will play: Nevada women enter male-dominated gun industry” calls Gun Play Vegas “the first and only female-owned firearms training company in Nevada.”
I learned about this article when I was contacted by some prominent women in Reno whom I have personally trained.
The Women’s Shooting Academy (WSA) was founded in 2008 in Reno. I started WSA after the attempted abduction of my daughter in South Reno.
Since its conception, I have trained thousands of women and been sought out to speak on a national level. I pride myself on the success of my business and the team I have put together.
There is plenty of business to go around, and I wish Gun Play much success. I would just appreciate the facts being the facts.
