In response to the letter, “Democrats have billionaires, too” (Nov. 13): The writer finds it amusing. I find it nauseating that both Democratic and Republican millionaires/billionaires are trying to buy our government.
Surely, our Founding Fathers did not intend that we become a plutocracy.
The New Oxford American dictionary defines plutocracy as “government by the wealthy.”
Maybe the wealthy can find another way to stimulate the economy. Paying a living wage to their employees would be a start.
