A man found dead in an apartment complex trash dumpster on Tuesday morning has been identified as Richard Fierro, 73, of Las Vegas, according to the Clark County Coroner’s Office.
Fierro’s body was found about 7 a.m. Tuesday in a trash bin at the Allanza at the Lakes apartment complex on Starboard Drive, near Durango Drive, Metro Police said.
Homicide detectives believe the man may have died as a result of a medical episode, police said.
Fierro’s body showed no visible signs of trauma and nothing appeared to be missing from his apartment at the complex, police said. Police did not explain how Fierro’s body ended up in the dumpster.
