Did the Southern Nevada Water District read the story in the July 8 Sun about an alfalfa business in Utah (“From exporters to owners: Thanks to more favorable growing conditions here, China’s hungry cattle feasting on alfalfa grown on Utah farm”)? Chinese investors are buying up farms to send alfalfa to their country.
Tell me why he gets all this water free from the Green River, which runs into the Colorado. You want me to conserve but this investor gets it free? Something smells with this deal.
