A 38-year-old woman killed Thursday when she drove an SUV into a northwest valley storm drain and hit a brick wall has been identified by the Clark County Coroner's Office as Alycia Marie Fox.
Fox, a North Las Vegas resident, died of multiple blunt-force injuries of the head and torso as a result of the crash, the Coroner's Office said.
Troopers received reports about 5:40 p.m. of a Lincoln Navigator driving through the intersection of U.S. 95 and Craig Road, traveling across westbound and eastbound Craig before heading south into a storm drain and striking a wall, Nevada Highway Patrol Trooper Loy Hixson said.
Fox was pronounced dead at the scene, and officials believe she may have been impaired, Hixson said.
