Focus on the facts in climate debate

In the July 22 guest opinion “Actually understand climate change,” Joseph Bast of the Heartland Institute says I should doubt climate change.

“There’s been no increase in global temperatures for 17 years,” he says. And yes, that is a fact that more than 200 U.S. and international science agencies agree with. And yet, all these agencies believe climate change is real.

There are more facts to the argument. Go read about them, and always check the reliability of your sources.

Maybe we just don’t have all the answers yet. Keep asking questions, but focus on facts — all of them.
