I keep reading, with a huge gnawing in my stomach, of the huge losses sustained by our United States Postal Service. Much of it can be cured by raising the rates of the weekly junk mail filling our mailboxes.
And, may I suggest, a once-a-year $5 fee to every mail address? The fee is minimal, and there is no one who cannot afford it.
