The Thomas & Mack Center could use a remodel, but I read that they want to work on the congestion on the concourse. I can’t believe the fire marshal has not issued citations to UNLV for moving so many things into the walkways.
We have everything from T-shirt sales to vendors wanting you to sign up for a phone. They were not there 20 years ago and should not be there now.
I also read that they are going to take away more parking spaces — how about giving back the 100 spots that are not accessible because of a curb that I was told was there because of flooding? How about fixing the drainage of the parking lot that was affected by the Cox Pavilion being built? Parking at the Thomas & Mack has gotten so bad over the years that it needs to be addressed.
