Las Vegas Wranglers goalie Travis Fullerton stopped 4 of 5 attempts from the host Colorado Eagles in a shootout today, helping the Wranglers grab a 4-3 win in the first game of three-game ECHL series in Loveland, Colo.

Chris Francis and John Armstrong converted their attempts in the shootout to give Las Vegas the win. The Wranglers trailed 3-2 late in the third period, but Francis scored a power-play goal with 3:26 remaining in regulation to force overtime.

Las Vegas trailed 1-0 entering the second period before scoring two goals in the initial three minutes of the period. Adam Hughesman evened the game at one just 70 seconds into the second, then Carlo Finucci scored 74 seconds later for a 2-1 Wranglers advantage.

Colorado scored twice before the second period ended, including a goal to take a 3-2 lead with eight seconds remaining before the break.

The teams play again Friday and Saturday. The Wranglers are back in Las Vegas at 11:59 p.m. Monday for their annual Midnight Game at the Orleans Arena, hosting Ontario.
