Rather than spend enormous federal energy on arguable voter discrimination due to lack of identification, I’ll propose a more tenable approach.
In our economy, it is impossible to function and achieve independence legitimately without identification. With all the federal and state agencies that administer to disenfranchised individuals, it would be prudent for these agencies to provide a federally approved identity card at no cost. This would help lift people out of the shadows to a more productive future.
