A Missouri woman who had been reported missing by her family has been found unharmed at a Henderson mobile home park late Saturday, according to Henderson Police.

Verna Lee Roberts, 78, was reported missing by her family Saturday when she failed to to follow up after taking her car to a repair shop Wednesday, according to officials.

In her last conversation with her family, she said the repair shop had asked for too much money. According to officials, Roberts later picked up her car with an unidentified man from the repair shop the same day, officials said.

A woman who saw Roberts’ picture in a news report contacted Henderson police after recognizing her as staying with a neighbor.

Police found Roberts at the mobile home park at about 11:45 p.m. Saturday. She had been staying with a resident who had been repairing her car.

Roberts has since been in contact with her family. She told them that she was traveling to California to see the country music singer Dwight Yoakam again after seeing him in concert in Texas.
