The Las Vegas woman who provided detailed exchanges between herself and Rep. Anthony Weiner, said via Twitter that she has been "having a personal meltdown" from this experience.

Lisa Weiss, a 40-year-old blackjack dealer in Las Vegas, was involved in an exchange of steamy messages between herself and Weiner that started in about August of last year, shortly after Weiner married Huma Abedin, who is now pregnant with their child. Since releasing the chain of messages she and Weiner exchanged, Weiss has written a letter of apology to Abedin.

From the communications released, it appears Weiss initiated the communication between herself and Weiner, but the Congressman quickly helped escalate it. While none of the now-infamous pictures of Weiner's pelvic region were reportedly exchanged between the two, they engage in a back-and-forth detailing of lewdly descriptive fantasies that leave little to the imagination. But more troubling for Weiner, Weiss has said that many of these exchanges happened during work hours, and that she and Weiner had a sexual exchange via his Congressional telephone line.

The publicity that was apparently meltdown-inducing isn't over for Weiss: her testimony will likely be subpoenaed if the House Ethics committee proceeds with an investigation of Weiner's activities, as they've been requested to do by Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi. Other lawmakers -- of both parties -- have also called for him to resign.

But the promise of close scrutiny down the line doesn't seem to have caused a lasting change of heart for Weiss, at least not insofar as her attitude toward social media goes. Three minutes after tweeting about her meltdown, she sent a direct note to another one of her favorite liberal celebrities, Bill Maher, who she's gushed about over Twitter in the past (though less graphically than she did with other public figures).

"@billmaher i'm the chick in vegas," she wrote. "maybe now you'll follow me! huge fan!"
