Team Pages

Nate Kirschbaum passed for four touchdowns and Chris Marshall rushed for about 200 yards and two touchdowns Friday to lead the Del Sol High football team past host Rancho, 40-22.

Del Sol only led 17-16 at halftime but scored on all of its second-half possessions.

“I was just happy with the way we responded in the second half,” Del Sol coach Preston Goroff said. “We made some halftime adjustments and didn’t lose our cool.”

Lael Perkins had a pair of touchdown receptions for the Dragons and Raheem Jones added one touchdown catch. Additionally, Dylan Lindemann kicked a 52-yard field goal.
