Dee Snider performs at the Vegas Rocks Magazine Awards at the Las Vegas Hilton on Aug. 22, 2010.

Las Vegas is rocking this weekend, with major musical acts for all tastes. Go low-key with Death Cab for Cutie, croon with British soul sister Adele or rock out with Vince Neil and Sebastian Bach.

The gastronomically inclined have much to choose from, too. Celebrate the gone-in-a-minute Hatch chili season Vegas style with a communal roast, or pig out on barbecue and dessert for a good cause.

Here’s a taste of what’s going on:

No politics, no religion. His signature bit centers on stupid people wearing signs.

Engvall has had a wildly successful 30-year career, appearing on television and in films, hosting a game show and releasing a platinum-certified comedy album. He’s a Las Vegas regular, got his professional start here and boasts the distinction of being the first non-Cirque du Soleil entertainer to perform at Treasure Island.
