Bill Clinton to speak tonight at World Market Center

The Big Dog is back in Nevada.

Former President Bill Clinton is scheduled to speak about globalization this evening at Las Vegas Market, a furniture trade show. He’ll take the stage at 6:45 p.m. at the World Market Center.

About 10,000 people are expected to attend the private hourlong speech. Clinton will also participate in a question-and-answer session.

The Democrat is expected to offer insight on the challenges of globalization and the world’s growing interdependence.

Clinton is a frequent visitor to Nevada, although his stops are usually more political in nature. He stumped for Democratic gubernatorial candidate Rory Reid last September and campaigned for Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid in October.

Most recently, Clinton voiced a robocall for Las Vegas mayoral hopeful Chris Giunchigliani but mispronounced her name twice during the call.
