Bishop Gorman’s Anu Solomon threw three touchdown passes and ran for another touchdown Friday in a 45-0 victory against visiting Spring Valley.
Solomon connected with Evan Zeger, Ryan Smith and Josh Hawks. Gorman also had running touchdowns from Justin Sweet and Jordan Welte.
Gorman (6-2, 4-0 Southwest) has only surrendered six points in four leagues games, including recording consecutive shutouts. The Gaels have four shutouts this year.
“We did a good job of matching up against them and not giving up any big plays,” Gorman coach Tony Sanchez said.
Colin Ditsworth added a career-best 50-yard field goal.
“He drilled it. It would have been close from 60 yards,” Sanchez said.
