The Clark County Coroner’s Office has ruled the cause and manner of death “undetermined” for a Las Vegas woman whose remains were found in her home.
Billie Jean James, 67, was reported missing April 22 by her husband of 40 years, Billy James. On Aug. 27, her husband found her remains in a cluttered back room of their home.
On May 17, Billy James asked for the public’s help in looking for his wife. At the same press conference, James’ family offered a $10,000 reward to anyone with information leading to her whereabouts.
“I don’t know where she is,” he said at the time. “I just want her back home.”
Billy James said the couple had been planning a trip to Hawaii on April 23, the day after she disappeared.
