Western tops Pahrump Valley in season finale

Team Pages

Western High senior Allen Davis had a pair of touchdowns Friday, and the Warriors closed the season with their second straight win — a 20-14 victory against host Pahrump Valley.

Even though Western will miss the playoffs, ending the season on a winning streak gives the program’s younger players plenty of motivation on the off-season, coach Fernando Carmona said.

Carmona said the top priority in the off-season is working on team strength. “Most teams we played were bigger than us up front,” he said.

Reggie Williams’ touchdown pass to Aaron Buckley accounted for the Warriors’ other points.
