On Cinco de Mayo, Las Vegas likes to pretend it's located South of the border. Not that the city needs an excuse to party, but taco and margarita specials are definitely something to get excited about.

Grab your sombrero and head to one of the many Cinco de Mayo fiestas where you can enjoy drink specials and all the street tacos you can handle, while dancing to mariachi music.

Saturday, May 1:

Uno de Mayo Block Party: O'Sheas is getting into the Cinco spirit a little early this year with the Uno de Mayo Block Party. Enjoy live music, DJs, $4 Mexican beers, $6 margaritas and a pub crawl with drink specials throughout the Harrahs family of properties.

Cinco de Mayo week at El Segundo Sol: The celebration lasts almost a full week at The Strip's newest Mexican restaurant, El Segundo Sol. Specials on various drinks are available each day until the holiday, with the party culminating May 5 with a bash that features an all-day happy hour and performances by Mar y Mar and a mariachi band.

Tuesday, May 4:

El Bango! at Moon: Bang! will become El Bango! for one special night at Moon at the Palms. Celebrate Cinco de Mayo eve with Jroc's Cinco de Drinko celebration featuring a DJ set by Joel Madden and 1519 Tequila specials.

Wednesday, May 5:

Cinco de Mayo fiesta at Agave: Agave Mexican restaurant in Summerlin will be hosting a huge fiesta in honor of Cinco de Mayo with bands starting at 2 p.m. under a 4,000 square-foot tent. The music will be accompanied by $3 Modelos, $5 margaritas and a taco cart to soak up all the booze.

Lindo Michoacan's Cinco de Mayo celebration: While all the Lindo locations across the valley will be offering drink and food specials on May 5, the Centennial outpost is going all out with live bands from 4-10 p.m., beer and margarita specials all day, giveaways that could earn you a mountain bike or grill, and the Karma Tequila girls doling out the shots.

Cinco de Mayo at Bonito Michoacan: Bonito Michoacan Restaurante will be celebrating Cinco de Mayo with raffles, T-shirt giveaways, music from Humberto Carillo and shot and a beer specials appropriately priced for $5.55.

Efren Ramirez hosts Cinco de Mayo at Dos Caminos: Efren Ramirez of Napoleon Dynamit will serve as master of ceremonies for Dos Caminos' Cinco de Mayo party. Mariachis will start at noon to kick off the party, which will include magicians, models and luchadores to entertain while guests listen to the sounds of DJ Lezlee accompanied by live musicians. DJ's Chonz and Cyber Kid take over at 10:30 p.m. Bocadito specials will include Hamachi Tostaditas, Crispy Rock Shrimp Tacos, Squash Blossom Rellenos and BBQ Pork Sopes.

Pink Taco's Cinco de Mayo celebration: Pink Taco in the Hard Rock will be offering great food and drink specials for Cinco de Mayo, including $2 chicken or steak tacos, $20 buckets of beer and discounts on different tequila brands throughout the evening. A 12-piece mariachi band will serenade you as you celebrate.

Cinco De Mayo Fiesta at Hussong's Cantina: Hussong's Cantina at Mandalay Place will be celebrating its inaugural Cinco De Mayo Fiesta featuring a Dos Equis "World's Most Interesting Man" competition. All contestants dressed as the "World's Most Interesting Man," will receive one complimentary Jose Cuervo or Don Julio Tequila specialty cocktail. Judging will take place at 7 p.m.

Cinco de Mayo at Sonrisa Grill: Celebrate Cinco de Mayo at Sonrisa Grill at Lake Las Vegas where guests can enjoy food and drink specials including $5 appetizers. The Toto Zara Trio will perform a blend of old world Euro classic, high-energy Latin and dance music.

Cinco de Mayo at Murphy's Law: Experience Cinco de Murphy's at Murphy's Law where you can enjoy $2.50 Coronas, $5 margaritas and $4 Matador shots throughout the entire day as well as food specials including Spicy CHEEZ-IT Chicken and the Crunchy Pescado Burrito.

Cinco de Cabo anniversary celebration at Cabo Wabo: Cabo Wabo Cantina will be celebrating its 20th anniversary a blowout Cinco de Mayo fiesta. After a few of their signature margaritas, you'll probably singing along with Sammy Hagar to his hit, "Mas Tequila."

"Sexy Señorita Showdown" at McFadden's: McFadden's will be hosting a Sexy Señorita Showdown in honor of Cinco de Mayo where the winner can take home a $500 cash prize. Enjoy Ambhar Tequila margaritas for $5 throughout the night, along with $3 Tecates and $10 yard glasses of frozen Malibu drinks. There will be live music from DJ N.I.N.O and his group, Vishon.

Cinco de Mayo tequila fiesta at Eve Nightclub: Celebrating Vegas' favorite Mexican export, Patron, Eve will be holding a tequila fest and Sexy Senorita competition with a vacation for two to Cabo San Lucas on the line.

55 Days of Summer kick off at Rockhouse: Rockhouse Bar & Nightclub will kick off its 55 Days of Summer event featuring Budweiser Select 55. Enjoy Bud Select 55 deals as well as $5 Jose Cuervo shots and margaritas throughout the "55 Days of Summer."

Miss T&T Hot Tamale pageant at T&T: This 12-hour party kicks off at noon with drink specials and cash on the line for human rooster fights, a photo booth contest and the for "Miss T&T Hot Tamale" pageant judged by the one and only Erik Estrada. The Black Mambo Margarita, featuring Hennessey Black, will be unveiled at this special event.

Sexy Senorita contest at Lavo: Lavo Nightclub at Palazzo will host the Sexy Senorita contest for $2,500 in cash and prizes. Dance all night to the sounds of a live mariachi band as you watch the ladies parade around to win top prize.

House Wednesdays Cinco De Mayo edition: This Wednesday, experience House Wednesdays Cinco De Mayo style at Blush. Don Julio margaritas and shots specials will be available all night.

Cinco de Mayo at Super Mex: Both Super Mex locations will be offering Super Cinco Margaritas with Cazadores Reposado for $5.55 in honor of the holiday, plus food specials like sopes and grilled enchiladas. The Cazadores Girls will be on hand to pour shots and dole out swag.
