The Clark County Coroner’s Office has identified a man fatally shot outside of a motorcycle enthusiast club Sunday as 45-year-old Shawn Paul Del Rio.
Officers responded to the area of Jackson Avenue and E Street about 11:30 p.m. to reports of gunshots and found Del Rio lying in a desert area near the intersection. He had suffered from multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics. His death has been ruled a homicide.
Investigators said Del Rio was visiting the motorcycle club and became involved in an altercation with an unidentified man. During the dispute, the man fired multiple shots at Del Rio before running northbound on E Street, police said.
The suspect was described as a black man who was about 6-feet tall and wearing dark clothing.
