Shooting location
Metro Police are searching for a man accused of shooting another man outside a motorcycle enthusiast club Sunday night.
Officers responded to the area of Jackson Avenue and E Street about 11:30 p.m. to reports of gunshots and found a 45-year-old man lying in a desert area near the intersection. He had suffered from gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.
The Clark County Coroner’s Office will release the man’s identity and cause of death after notifying family members.
Investigators said the victim was visiting the motorcycle club and became involved in an altercation with an unidentified man. During the dispute, the man fired multiple shots at the victim before running northbound on E Street, police said.
The suspect was described as a black man who was about 6-feet tall and wearing dark clothing.
Anyone with information is being asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 702-385-5555 or Metro’s Homicide Section at 702-828-3521.

Bruce Willis in Pulp Fiction: Zed's dead, baby. Zed's dead.
must have been an illegal
ya motorcycle club, and ya we've been around since the 60's, a brotherhood where we all share the interest and love for 2 or 3 wheels, no he wasnt an illegal, if you dont know nothing about it dont assume thats what makes ignorance such a big thing in this damn city.
Blacks are allowed in Motorcycle Clubs? I thought it was just huge white guys with lots of hair, hos, and tats.
A little club, how cute. Do you guys have secret handshakes and decoder rings? Do you share your wives with senior members?
what does race have to do with this story, and why are you assuming anything about something you know nothing about. @ this one guy.. lol u sound like a real comedian, its the ignorance in people like yourself that make this community not understand the mc community. we have a love for one thing and yet we are bad people, well here's one for you. That victim fought for your right to post stupid comments. thats right a retired vet who fought for this country who loved the freedom of riding his motorcycle. wow huh.. before you post things you know nothing about remember he was one of gods children and he is now home with him. as for you point a finger and remember 3 are point back.
Ok, a man is dead and that is sad, my apologies and condolences to his family.
Now let me ask you, if the victim was not associated with an MC club/gang or whatever, would he have still be dead?
Was this the Soul Brothers MC?
so your assuming that mc's are gangs? sorry but they are not. they share a common interest for the love of riding, the freedom of not being in a cage (vehicle)and seeing life in a different perspective. there's nothing wrong with that. why must we be judged by that? If he was riding down sahara and a vehicle pulled out in front of him and he couldnt stop or swerve to avoid it, it would be the same outcome. being in the wrong place at the wrong time. You shouldnt point a finger at a club regardless if he was a member or not. The mc world has gotten a bad rap sheet for no reason. Pay attention to what good we do in the community, ex toy drives, bike and car washes for charities, things of that nature we dont get recognition for but when something like this happens it automatically becomes the big bad biker gangs doing it again, and realistically when your on the outside looking in and being naive to what we really are about its not a good mixture by assuming, instead of educating yourselfs.
randiaaa explains:
The mc world has gotten a bad rap sheet for no reason.
Really?.. owe it to the community to educate yourselfs?...lol....
You are your own worst enemys...especially when you start sharing your edumucation on these blog sites...
obviously not educated @david, which is fine, thats on you, my own worst enemy, no not even close, if you dont like what your reading dont read it, but i wont stand here and let people continue to blame everything on the mc world, that man was a victim of senseless bs that is in this world. mc or non mc, cc or non cc, sc or non sc, is something we enjoy on our time, we shouldnt be looked down at because of it. Thats education period no matter where its put.
If he was in the wrong place at the wrong time, where was he supposed to be? Switzerland in 1958?
So was it MC club related violence or not?
Many of you do not know, but motorcycles and bikers, (clubs, gangs) have always visited Jackson Street for many years. Many of the Hell's Angles would visit Jackson Street and spend their time at Mom's Kitchen. Up to 50 motorcycles would be parked on Jackson Street in front of Mom's Kitchen on a Saturday night...there has never was any trouble, up till now.
I Don't know if they are the same bikers from years past, but I am sure this will be handle by the bikers, not the police, you can bet on it!
...Just to be clear on the first post. I am referring to WHITE BIKERS on the West Side on town on a Street know for violence (Jackson Street), black against black crime. In the past, no one messed with the bikers.
Since my friend can't comment>> I will
Let me just say that he was loved by many and will be missed just the same. He wasn't just a guy who got killed. He was a man; a veteran;a son,a father; a friend; a human. He PROUDLY served this country. He loved his family; his bike; his friends and the freedom to belong to any organization he wanted to. Unfortunately, for all of us ( his friends & family) who care about him dearly, we will not get to see him enjoy those freedoms he fought for anymore, because of this shooter. This killer is still on his feet roaming the street. May justice be done and catch this person, that took him from all of us, before he hurts another special person!!!
To all the biker haters out there. This isn't about being a biker!!! This is about the loss of human life.
**Please let our fellow friend, brother, father, son, Rest in Peace**
PEACE TO ALL!!!!!
@ saxoniwillmissu.... well said. This man was a long time family friend of my family. He was a big brother to me my whole life. It is such a loss. And because one person one night decided to play GOD, his sons will never see him again. There are so many selfish ppl in this world. @ bythisoneguy why does it matter if it was MC related. It doesnt matter.... grow up
I think it matters because when motorcycle "clubs" have any violence visited upon them, it tends to just escalate, as evidenced by the guy who posted that "the bikers will take care of it". I've been a biker for 20 years, I just don't need to join a group to do it, therefore I don't get shot, stabbed or beaten because of the jacket I'm wearing.
WOW, talking about things and you don't even know the facts. I hear about people getting shot and killed everyday for no reason yet it happens at a club house with M.C.'s and all of a sudden you people care and want to talk. What kind of crap is that? I've been in the M.C. world for 5yrs now and it's been the best years of my life. Alls you people want to think about is the negatives well damnit we have done to many good things for this community such as feeding the homeless, putting clothes on the backs of children and family's that don't have any, or just simply helping a stranger out, yet that's not good enough because to you the negatives out weighs the positives. Then the racist talk WOW can we say pure ignorance. Its funny to see on how you people can say all this crap over a computer yet you can't approach us and say how you really feel I smell b.s. We are not bad people and neither was he. He was nothing but a free spirit who loved his kids, family, friends, bike and country. Don't blame the M.C. world for the death of my bro blame ignorance and stupidity because at the end of the day our vest do come off and we are just like you with family's friends and jobs, we just happen to have one love in common and that's riding. R.I.P BRO. You will be missed tons but we will be dropping that clutch for you.
I've given my condolences to the fallen here; a human is dead and that is a tragedy on a human level.
Now on a social level, there are issues that need discussing. Why will none of you MC club defenders answer me?
Was this murder related to a MC? Will the police handle this or will the MC? These are fair questions.
Judging by the above refusals to answer my legitimate questions, I am going to assume that this murder WAS in fact, MC related. What a shame. He sounded like a nice guy, and now he's dead; for what?
Any time there is talk about motorcycle gangs/clubs the defenders always like to talk about toy drives, fund raisers, and charitable work. All good and well, but how about members NOT dying or going to prison for killing each other? Wouldn't that make more sense? Take care of your own family by NOT dying for a patch?
Why are MC club memorabilia, tattoos and web pages adorned with violent images? Why is there always a section for "fallen members"? Why do these clubs always have people in charge of security and bodyguards for club officers? The answer is the inherently violent culture MC's are part of. Do the Masons do any of these things? Do Royal Elk die early?
If you enjoy being in a gang, if you have a need to fight, and be involved in drama then just say so. If dying or "doing time" is what you are into, just admit it. Tell us the world is boring - but don't act like you are in the Salvation Army, man up and admit you actually like the very things everyone criticises bikers for.
M.C. or not it doesn't matter a man is dead due to ignorance. Just because it happened by a club house doesn't make it a M.C. problem. For you to sit here and say we are criminals and would die for our patch and we are violent just because we are patched is stupid. What about the riders out there with no patch who have done worse things than most members. Jumping to conclusions isn't the way to go. People are judging us due to the past with say the Hells Angels, Mongols, Banditos so on n so fourth you people think we are all just like that. Well here's a tip for you we aren't all like that. When it comes down to it all of us members have family's and the last thing we want to do is jepordize the time we have with them by goin out and starting problems. I can tell that most of the people leaving comments have no smarts towards M.C.'s other than what they have heard. Well instead of jumping to conclusions reach out and come to our events that are open to the public or stop n talk to a member you will see we are all just like you.
You cannot in one breath say that MC's are not violent and then refuse to confirm or deny if this murder was MC related in the next.
Yes I am sure "non patched" people commit crimes all of the time, so what?
I am willing to forget past assumptions about MC's if you would be willing to speak truthfully about the circumstances of this death. Then we can decide.
ThisOneGuy, don't generalize everyone involved in a club or gang or whatever it's called. It only emphasizes your ignorance. I mean, I could say that you're a hillbilly whose mother is also his sister, but my upbringing taught me better.
Yes, there are bad people in the world. It's the world we live in.
Dude you just straight ignorant right now. We don't owe you an explanation. You can sit here and talk b.s. all day bout M.C.'s but at the end of the day we know what we are. M.C. or not there is always violence.
Geena I am going to forgive that attack, I am also sure you were brought up better than that. I'll chalk it up to you not feeling well, or maybe you knew the deceased?
However geena I will draw my own conclusions, I'll do it fairly and I'll use facts at hand.
These associations are associations of choice, not of biology or birth, but CHOICE.
It appears that problems, for whatever ultimate reason, seem to follow these groups. Ergo if you associate with these groups you are - for whatever reason - putting your self in harms way. Sorry but that is the logic of the situation.
Calling me ignorant is great, but at least correct me, don't just tell me I don't know or understand; tell me how it actually is.
We don't put ourselves in harms way. Hell being on our bikes crusin around town is about the most dangerous thing we do. You rarely here about violence between M.C. clubs in Las Vegas but omg there happens to be a shooting BY a club house and everyone feels its our fault and we set ourselves up for this. Why would we set ourselves up to when we all have family's to go home to every night. So stop accusing M.C.'s of having problems when society is the one with the problem. Just cuz we wear vest don't make us bad people. I know for a fact the we as bikers all need to step up and show these people what we really are.
So you are telling me that it wasn't MC related? It was simply near the club house. Well now I know.
And I guarantee that riding in this town is the most dangerous thing anyone could ever do. I don't know how you do it, people drive like idiots around here. Stay safe.
Well,I think I have heard enough for a lifetime. We have all gone off to talk about MC,racism, and clubs. I think we have changed the subject. A wonderful man, father and veteran has lost his life. I have known him for more than half my life. I'm sure his family and friends would want him to be remembered for all he has done in his life. During the last couple of years, he has always been there for me when I needed a sympathetic ear or if we just needed a good laugh. He was the guy who would give you the shirt off his back and his last buck if he had it to give. He deserves more then us talking about how good or bad the people are in the world. People can be cruel and mean spirited. I hope we can try to learn to treat each other with kindness and give help when someone is in need. He will be truly missed. I only hope the man that did this will be brought to justice.
RIP our fellow friend, brother, father, son and
veteran who served our country well.
ThisOneGuy:
I don't know how it is but then again neither do you!!!!!! You are very much entitled to your opinion stop generalizing, it does only to emphasize your ignorance as originally stated.
This is for THIS ONE GUY..... what are you afraid of? If you want to know details about my friends killing, then I suggest you call the phone numbers provided above and discuss it with the authorities. Your questions are very suspicious and seem like you have something to hide, possibly regarding this case? If not, then I suggest you find another story to badger.
Very true blondee. He was real quick to throw out Soul Brother's m.c. yet doesnt know crap. hmmmm sounds fishy.
