You might assume dudes cannot wait to get their grubby paws near the beautiful models doubling as dinner plates for Naked Sushi, an LA-based entertainment company that caters private parties and has expanded to Las Vegas over the last year. You’d be wrong. The opposite is true, insists model-turned-manager Diem Nguyen. “Guys get so nervous. I’ve had them drop their chopsticks on me because their hands were shaking so much,” she says, and she isn’t speaking in euphemisms. Turns out, many customers are too afraid of making fools of themselves in front of an obviously confident woman to do much more than grab their nigiri and go. Or, maybe they’re just hungry.
